The company operates through three main business segments: Personal Insurance, which includes home, auto, and other insurance products for individuals; Business Insurance, offering a broad array of property and casualty insurance and related services; and Bond and Specialty Insurance, which includes surety, fidelity, and other specialty insurance products. Travelers has a global presence with operations in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and other international markets. It is a component of the Dow Jones Industrial Average and has a significant workforce of over 33,000 employees. The company is known for its long history, dating back to 1853, and its consistent dividend payments, having increased dividends for 17 consecutive years and paid dividends for 150 years straight.
